I know the Queen doesn't carry a passport but surely she must still have to go through customs?

I would think every citizen would have to go through customs as otherwise you would have royals being couriers for drug dealers and importing all kinds of illegal items on the plane.

Answer:
Diplomatic privilege. If your worried about drug runners I suggest you check the personal baggage of most of the diplomats servants from Africa. They are all at it!

No, of course she doesn't have to go through Customs. People of her status never do. Heads of State and diplomats are not required to go through Customs. Since you're a troll, I imagine you already knew that and are merely wasting space again.

Diplomats dont get stopped at customs and even if they did customs cant search or detain them . its the diplomatic card . But i think the queen may have a higher card just.like other state members of other countries .........

It is such an undignified thing, dear Clara. You know, the last time Her Majesty travelled by aeroplane, she suffered the ignominy of being asked whether or not she had packed the suitcase herself. Of course she had not! Her Lady In Waiting sees to such mundanities.

Diplomats don't if they're travelling on diplomatic passports The Queen cannot take private visits abroad which is why she has no passport. Any foreign visit is a state visit. Heads of state are normally exempt from goign through customs if their visit is official (which it always is in the case of the Queen).

Nope, she has diplomatic immunity.

No, of course not, do you honestly think that the Queen of the United Kingdom, struggles through customs with dozens of trunks, wondering whether to take the red or green exit? No, my dear clara, you are jesting, of course.
Dr, Sir Ichiban.
Yeap. They're flesh and blood like me and you. So they're royals no one is above the law (apperently).
