SKI or SNOWBOARD? Which is the better choice?

For someone who has never been to the snow, which is the better option??

It depends on how often you plan to go. Snowboarding is harder to learn but easier to master; so that once you get it, once it clicks with you, you'll become good in no time. Skiing is easier to learn but harder to master. It's easier to pick up right from the beginning, but it could take a couple of years before you're really great at it.

Snowboarding is hella fun. You should def. try that.. takes some getting use to when you start, but after a week or so, when you fully get it, you will have a blast.

I would say that skiing would be the best choice because it is easier to learn at first (even though it takes longer to get realy good at) you also have better vision of what is in fornt of you because you are not turned sidways. Also it is faster. =D

I would think that it would depend a bit on your fitness level, how old you are, what your friends are doing, how much time you will have to learn. If you are fit, have a few days on the slopes and your friends are doing it, snowboarding is more fun than skiing to me.

it's just up to you. personally i like snowboarding more even though it was harder to learn but once you got the hang of it it was easy since i was able to go down the expert slopes the 2nd day.
