How good are North Face Jackets?

How to check the quality of north face jackets?

  • I have just bought the north face denali jackets from the website: http://www.northface-fleece.net/. but i am confused about the quality. someone can help me? thanks!

  • Answer:

They look like they are selling clearance merch from past seasons. That's the only way they can sell that much below MSRP. Retail on a Denali goes about $165. The only way to really tell once you get it is to look at the fabric. If it says Polartec300 or Polartec WindPro on the label or product info tags then it's probably legit (or a really good fake.) These are the only two materials used in the Denali Fleece Jackets. If you can't tell from the tags, hold the material up to your mouth and breathe through it holding your other hand on the other side of the fleece about an inch away. If you can't feel your breath at all you have a Denali made from WindPro. If you can barely feel it it's Windbloc300. If you can really feel air through it it might be made from a lesser material and thus a fake.
