  • Answer:

Our Blank Snowboards are great park boards without sacrificing stability at high speeds and dropping cliffs. Check out www.blanksnowboards.com. I am one of the founders. Let me tell you a little bit about how we designed our boards. We went through 7 rounds of prototypes last year making the necessary changes each time until we got to what we consider the perfect board. We needed it to be soft enough to be super fun in the park, buttering, jibs, rails etc. Once we got that it was super fun, but didn't handle dropping cliffs or high speeds as well as we wanted. We increased the stiffness of the fiberglass and carbon fibre beams... and kept working until we were there. Our boards are still flexy and poppy enough to be super fun in the park, but handle big mountain charging, cliffs and high speeds really well too. Let me ask you a question. Why do you believe you need to purchase a snowboard around 4 - $500? You obviously want a high-end board, but what if you could get the same quality board for 1/2 that price? We sell 4-$500 boards for $200 directly from our site by cutting out the retailer. Those boards (Burtons, Rome, Stepchild) etc do not cost twice as much as ours b/c they are twice as good. Retailers charge a 100% markup. Those companies sell those boards to the retailers for $200 who in turn mark them up to 4-$500. We sell the same high quality boards (sandwitch sidewall construction, poplar wood core, triaxial fiberglass, carbon fibre beams etc) for the same price that those companies sell them to the retailers for, the only difference is we sell them directly to you our customers, rather than to retailers. Give us a shot. I'd be happy to answer any questions.

Dominant is a great park board. Not great for pow or riding fast. I had one and didnt like it much outside the park. I ride a Burton uninc which is a great park and all mountain board. Even a Burton Custom is good in the park and mountain board. Dont know what the Arbor board is called. Sorry..

If I were looking for a board that crushed the park but would handle the rest of the hill too I would be buying the Nitro Andreas Wiig model.
