How to you build a rail that you can grind with a snowboard?

How come with a snowboard if you grind a rail it doesn't scratch up the board?

Because the Rail is a smooth surface. Occasionally if you hit the rail or a box wrong then you can mess up ur board, but thats rare.

It does scratch up the board. In which case you go get a base grind or use a P-Tex candle to fill in the scrapes and holes. If you are riding jibs and your board isn't getting scratched then you probably don't have a lot of contact time. Typically, people who 50/50 everything won't see much of a difference. Try a board slide sometime, you might notice some scuffs. Happy shredding!
