What are the best park and flexible boards?

Know of any really good park boards?

  • My current board is best suited for the mountain, so it's a little big for the park. I really like the park though so I'm looking to get a really small, flexible park board ...show more

  • Answer:

Check out the Capita Saturnia, K2 VVV Rockered, Ride Canvas or Rome Lo-Fi, Never Summer Pandora for snowboards in the 140+ Range, for smaller decks check out K2 Fling, GNU B-Real or Salomon Radiant for the 130s. Id say for your weight anything from a 138 to a 142ish would work fine for you, Id suggest the Saturnia or the VVV Rockered. If you dont mind a guys deck, there are also the Capita Stairmaster Mini decks that run from 133-138.

ha lib tech has a banana tech board it is amazing for jumps kuz u can spring real high normal boards have a peice of wood between your feet and that is what the board rocks on, its called the rocker, and that helps you spring off the ground. Lib tech made teir board so that the rocker in underneath your feet so the middle of the board has a crazy flex and that makes it super to give a little more pop on a jump, it also helps on carving, dont feel like explaining that one

Hey Mayday, Good ones mentioned already. Another good one I have heard good things about by many is the Burton GTwin. Heard it was a good park board and good to start with.

The only good womens board i know is the K2 Va Va Voom (VVV). It would be a great park board with a good flex and pop. I have a similar thing in mens (the world wide weapon) and its great. If im correct and its like mine your suppose to size down about 5cm because the shorten the tip and tail so you will have a longer effective edge, and it will ride like i bigger board, but is easier to spin and it is real easy to press. Yeah get it with rocker, but rocker doesnt have to do with the wood in the middle or pop. It is a reverse camber, meaning the board is curved like a bannana or rocking chair. It does change the handling making it nice and it makes it have a nive flex and really easy to press.
