What type of snowboard boot brand is good and are Oakley goggles good for snowboarding?

Burton is a definite winner in boots, although any of the major specialty brands can work... you just need to find one that fits comfortably for you. Burton Moto is a no-brainer if you're trying to save some cash but still get a good ride. Salomon also has a great fit even in the lowest price models. For goggles, Oakley is great and also expensive - you're paying for quality AND style, but watch out for helmet fits - they can be tough to match up with some helmets. Check out Anon and Dragon for great lower-cost alternatives that also have killer style. If you ride with a helmet, bring it to the shop when you get the goggles. If you've got the cash, get a goggle with a spherical lense (you can see that it's curved horizontally AND vertically) to get the best optical quality.

well i used dc just get an 08 pair or 07 they work well and look good i also used burton modo boots here is a good website evogear.com oh i almost forgot the goggles i use oakley goggles and love them.

Oakley are awesome sunglasses. Just a little expensive on the higher end. But you can get some sick a frames. As for boots, I'd go with something that is heat moldable all 32's and some DC's have it, and some Ride boots. Heat molding is when you heat up the liner until it is nice and flexible and then you stand in the boots untill they cool down. This forms the liner to your foot so that it gets rid of any pressure points that would normally bother your feet. 32 Exus or Prions are cheap and comfortable.

yea Oakley are very good i own my own pair of them and for boots i'd go with burton boots or k2 boots i like k2's better in my opinion
