burton is really good so is k2 and neversummer but you should also look at rome libtec ride lamar marrow anything will do because when your a beginner u really dont know what style your probably gonna go with

Flow is a really good snowboarding brand but I'm not sure how that will fit with your type of snowboarding. They have top class snowboarders that represent them so you know it will be a good quality board. But as the others have stated, try out different boards and see which one feels right with you.

jake is correct but the best way to find out is to try all types of boards some shops on the mountains can give you a trial on a few boards before you buy them. if you need the board before you go don't be scared to try on boots and boards in the shops to at least get a feel of what your buying!
