  • Answer:

You should stay away from special lacing systems. The most reliable laces are the old fashion kind. I suggest a pair of burton freestyles. They have pull cord laces and velcro straps on the boot liners. This makes sure your boots are super tight and rigid, which is exactly what you need to convert your energy from your body to the board. You want boots that fit as snug as possible without cramping your toes. Again I highly recommend the burton freestyle, they are $120 brand new.
