How much of a flex difference will there be between two differently flexed snowboards?
-
i mostly hit rails and press and butter and stuff but willa medium to stiff board such as the academy otterstrom be harder to flex since it is a medium to stiff flexed board
-
Answer:
A stiffer board will require more effort to manual and butter. If yo are a strong rider this will not be an issue with a medium flex board, but can get difficult with a very stiff board. The other thing you may notice is that you might not get that tip (or tail) as far off the snow as you are used to as you get into a stiffer board. Flex is always a trade-off: you trade the amount of pop for the amount of flex. Most boards will likely fit into the "medium flex" range for this reason.
