i have a 13, and use a burton blunt 158 wide, id say u need a wide, but it depends what length of board it is, definitely rent the type of board u want first before actually buying it, and get boots with good toe risers

At that size you will need a wide board. People say wide boards are less maneuverable because a lot of people get them when they don't need them, so it is too large, but for a bigger guy it will be fine.
