Which is harder to learn for a beginner - skiing or snowboarding?

Is snowboarding hard to learn after skiing for several years?

• Im 14 and started skiing at 4 or 5 and very good at it now but getting boring. Im wondering in your experience if u think it is hard to learn snowboarding after skiing for years.

  Your still quite young, and things are easier to learn when you learn at a young age, so you will find that snowboarding is harder to learn now you've been used to skiing because you a standing different and it's unusual to have your feet strapped into a one position. It depends because some people can pick it up real easy, at my ski slope I see people go on skiis, do it really well and go on a snowboard and do that really well, some people find it more difficult, I went on a skiing holiday but learned to snowboard after that and it was more difficult for me. But I think because you will do quite well and pick it up quite easy, you've obviously got dedication to skiing if you've been doing it for 10 ish years, if you really want something you'll get it.
