    I am not gonna write alot.. But just trying to get the votes more on the boots side. If you have shitty boots u r gonna be miserable if u try and ride all day. Definitely go with the boots for this season then next season maybe buy some bindings. Bindings dont change that often anyways. You should be fine with them as long as they are not the shitty plastic/rubber that break easily.

look at the ride bindings. they in my eyes are the best at about 300 bucks

If you seriously won't settle for last season's boots/bindings (they don't change them that much within one season) then I say go for the boots. Bad boots can ruin your whole day on the mountain.
