What Snowboard Bindings should I get that are really good?

What kind of snowboard bindings should i get?

  • i saw a kid who had bindings that where sort of flat and they just clicked to his boots. are those kinds of bindings reliable ,fun, and how do they work do i need special boots

  • Answer:

while step-in or clicker bindings (which is what you likely saw) can be convenient, most people agree these days that strap-in bindings give much better response. go to any mountain and count how many strap-ins you see compared to step-ins. they are extremely popular for a reason. if you go the step-in route, you need boots specific to the step-in system you choose. the boots are harder and less flexible because the support has to be built into the boot as it's not in the binding. strap bindings are much more popular therefore your choice of bindings and boots will be greater. i would suggest buying your boots first and choosing bindings based on features but also on the best fit for your boots. alasdair

I have used both clip ins ans straps and both weren't that good because you would have to sit down and put them on and then you get all wet. I would go with the flow bindings. I have had a pair for 2 years and they work fine you never have to adjust your bindings once you set them up. You get in by putting your foot in the back and lifting the back of the binding up. And to get out of them you just release the clip on the back and pull your foot back and out it comes. check out all the men's ones at the website.
