Quick snowboard question?

  • would i be better off getting a better snowboard that is a year or two old, or a cheaper new model? im an intermediat boarder that was looking at a few of last years GNU models.

    Definitely get the old one, and as the others have advised, most stores will be selling the old models at discounted prices, so you won't be paying much more than the new cheap model, and getting far better value for money from it. If the old board is better, then it's better, even if it's old. There aren't going to be that much more newfangled technology going into the new boards in the course of 1 year.

There is no reason to buy a new model anymore...last years models are often exactely the same except for the graphics...and the only morons who give a **** are the lame asses who sit around the lodge, checking out other peoples shizz.....www.whiskeymilitia.com, www.dogfunk.com, check these sites daily, hourly, you won't be disappointed...with all the discount online stores, only fools who spend their parents money would buy brand new...good luck!

Honestly I would go for the older, better quality one. I'm not much into the sport but my bf and his whole family is and it's all they talk about in the winter. Just because they just made it doesn't make it the best. you can get a brand new cheapo board that will suck and you will wipe out constantly or you can get one a few years older and it will be easier to control and you should be much happier. That's what I think.
