Generally you will need to get a skate that is 1-2 sizes smaller then your normal show size. So you will wear a skate that is between 8.0-9.0. Here is a great guide on sizing hockey skates: http://www.hockey.us/docs/sizing-guide-hockey-skates/ Most skates will come in a standard D width, but they do make and sell skates that are wider and narrower. This is usually noted as a E or EE for wide width a C for narrow width. So if you have a fit that is wide/narrow you do have some options.
