If I wear a size 8 in womens shoes what do i wear in hockey & figure skating skates?

are you a figure skater? or do you just go skating alot and use your own skates? if you are a figure skater:: get yours custom fitted. thats what i have done since i started when i was four, and i have never had a problem if you just skate for fun:: i would recommend getting recreation ice skates. they are great, they have the blade of a figure skate but the boot looks like a tennis shoe. they are great. when my non-figure skating friends come on the rink with me, they use those. and they're absolutely perfect. i'll attach a link === http://www.skates.com/riedell-soft-boot-ice-skates-p/r615g-ice-gr4.htm

1/2 a size bigger. the girl above me said if it isnt comforable go 1 size up instead, not true. its not supposed to be comfortable because your supposed to break them in. they are supposed to basicly be like a second skin to your foot, but kinda not like THAT tight either. only go up 1/2.

half size bigger if that still isn't comfortable than get a whole size bigger but don't go any bigger than that.

I'd say a ten. I'm a five in most shoes, but I have to wear a size seven in figure skates (with socks on), otherwise they bleed.

i think they run a little bit smaller so, u might want 1 size bigger than ur normal size, but i think they make ur feet sore no matter what
