Which Ice skates are the best?

    The real question is; which skates are the best for my level, foot shape, size, and etc.? because there are many types of really good brands of iceskates, but it really depends on thoughs factors. If you get a skate, but its for a higher level then yours, they might be way to hard to break in and to stiff to practice what you already know.

depends on your level if you are a basic it's not reallly a big deal probably you can get used ones... if your a free style (me) your talking about 300-600 dollar skates... http://www.frogsonice.com/skateweb/business.shtml has MILLIONS of skate brands that are awesome! DON'T GET JACKSON FREESTYLE I had them and they ruin everything! All of my friends have them and my coach doesn't reccomend them at all if your a pro then you should know lol :)

I have been skating for 12 years and have only ever had Risport white figure skates with marc IV blades. In the past 4 years i have only had 1 pair so they last ages and i skate everyday so they are very sustainable. They cost me around £300 from my local rink and i customised them with pink and blue laces with beads on the bottom lace.

My Fiancee' does a lot of ice skating and has got Risport boots with Coronation Ace blades which costs around £250 and are good for Figure skating and Dance... Hope this helps
