  • Answer:

Ice skating is pretty much like roller bladding. If you know how to do that then you should be fine. You move your feet in the same way you would of you were doing that. Dont be afraid to hug the wall. We all do it and your feet just need to get used to being under the ice,as it is slippery. Just hug the wall and comfortably start to let go. As to what to wear. Jeans are fine. Long socks. Gloves are a must, because your hands get cold. Id wear a long sleeve shirt. Hoodie or jacket and sometype of ear muffs. Happy early birthday and i hope you have fun.

Well first upi, you should wear something warm, but not too big because it's harder to keep you balance. A jumper of hoodie is fine. Second up, you're older now, so you'll more confident on the ice, and when you get there, you'll see what I mean. Finally, when you get on the ice, go around the edge (holding on) a couple of times and the let go of the edge, but stay close for another couple of times and then go into the middle when you feel ready. One foot infront of the other, and yeah, like you said, you glide, and when that has glided, you pick up your back foot and do the same and try to get in rhythm. Have fun! :D
