What are some good stretches for figure skaters?
-
especially so I can do a Beillman spin...

Answer:
Anything that stretches out your back, legs, and arms are good to do. I think that practicing stretching your spirals off the ice holding onto a ballet bar may be the most helpful for the Bellman spin. Good luck.

Backbends. Also, practice doing a beillman off ice. Lean up against a wall for balance and then lift your leg up. My beillman used to not be very good, but the more I did it, the better it got. It also helps if your muscles are warm when you practice them. And they tend to make your fingers hurt from your blades digging into them, so make sure you wear gloves.
