Do twin tip all mountain skis do well on ice?

  • Answer:

ok. both the skis you cited are very specific. Meaning that they are designed for one area, and whatever else you get is a bonus. The people who buy these skis are experts who have multiple pairs for different occasions. Now seeing as you ski a large variety of mountain you need all mountain skies. and since you admit to being a kid I will have to suggest you don't spend much on them. The main thing to keep in mind is that in 3 or 4 years you will have grown, gotten better at skiing, and probably figured out a specific ski style you use. So I hate to say it but going for the top name skis is not going to do you much good. I would say got to your local ski shop and see what basic all mountain skies they have. The price should be around $100 to $200. Maybe a little more. The name of the ski should not be a word, more of an alphanumeric code. Trust me, I did think when I was younger, and when I got older I started getting more targeted skis.
