    Not sure of your weight that a woman's ski would be appropriate or a junior ski. It's best to go to a ski shop and discuss your needs with the ski sales person. Rossignol, Dynastar and K2 make some nice junior ladies and ladies' skis. You can check their websites, and use their ski selectors.

I wouldn't buy skis. Just rent for right now. You are still growing which means in a year or 2 and you'd have to get new skis again. And FYI, new skis run about $600 to $800. As for design, one is limited to what the manufacturer puts out. You should never pick a ski based on color. Unfortunately, this is something only you can do, so you will have to do the research. Maybe you will learn something about skiing and skis in general
