Head up to the park and find some park rats to (the kids that spend all day in the park) tool around with. Always start small and add tricks after you've gotten your straight air down. You'll want to get some soft flexing skis, not too soft though. Most kids I know are more than happy to help out a beginner in the park, especially ladies. Something that helped me in my younger days was visualizing myself nailing the trick before I started in on the jump and not thinking about it again until I landed. Concentrate on what you're doing but don't think about it.

If you are really concerned about arm and wrist injuries stay away from snowboarding. Their most common injury is to the arms and wrists. As a starting point, take up tumbling and basic gymnastics so you learn how to control your body in the air. Diving is another good training system.

the best thing i can tell u is if u want big air, and if ur as expert as u say u r, i think the best way r cliffs, cause on good powder days u have soft landings, and u can pull anything from 180s and tail grabs 2 back flips and 540s. and parks r 2 crowded
