Houses that have been shut up for a while can smell quite funky. Even your bedroom can have terrible odour to others in the morning if you have been sleeping in there all night with the doors and windows closed. Maybe your Gran was a bit incontinent? It's not the sort of thing she would have been mentioning in polite conversation. I can't see there is anything paranormal about a bit of stink.

I stood in the middle of the highway one night and waited for a car to plow into me and 2 years later one of my friends died after he was hit by a car while trying to cross the highway on foot.

It was probably a sign from her but in a weird way,I haven't felt anything after death,but the night my grandad died I had the worst headache of my life,and in the morning we were told he had died in the night,that was weird.
