What is the difference between the Nike Lunar running shoes?

What is the best way to lacing method for running shoes?

  • I just bought a new pair of running shoes - Nike Shox 7 if it makes a difference. I would like to know how to properly lace the shoes for running purposes.

  • Answer:

I tie my shoelaces normally, but one thing I do consistently is either double or triple tie them. There's also this yankz shoelace system you can look into. http://www.yankz.com/ Looks interesting. Hope that helps, Elaine http://www.truerunning.com

For me, any method to tie shoes works. Just make sure that the laces are looped through a comfortable hole that will keep the front of the foot from sliding in the shoe. Its hard to explain but, there are holes for the lace to go through so make sure to lace up to the farthest holes (closet to your ankle.) It is best to keep your heel at the back of the shoe and not have your toes smashing in the front. Sorry if this didn't make sense.

usually the way they come is fine. but be careful, the shox get bad reviews as running shoes. I know a lot of friends that like them for style, but for running, a lot of people have trouble. Nike Pegasus and any Asics are great for running. get an associate to help you. usually they'll get the right one for your arch and width

The classic criss cross is probably the best. Check these out if you were thinking other ones http://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/lacingmethods.htm
