Does ebay upgrade my paypal account automatically when I upgrade it through paypal itself?

In pay pal why do i have to upgrade to a business account when i only sell for a hobby?

  I use a e-bay a lot, this is something that I have heard rumoured, but not come across, it has more to do with British tax law than e-bay themselves. The power seller bit is what would concern me, by qualifying as a power seller you must be bringing in significant sums, removing your account is an option, but has some pitfalls. E-bay has your computer IP address and will store this, so first off you cannot use the computer you originally registered on, further, if you have registered a bank account and have linked that to your Paypal account you cannot then use that, or any any other previously used accounts, or any previously used addresses,as these will link you to your orginal account. If you manage to get passed that lot then be careful about what you register with and how you use it, I tend to both buy and sell, so profit is not an issue, also I tend not to sell continuously, sometimes not selling for a month or two, this means that I do not set up a regular pattern of sales.
