You need to figure out who your target audience is (males/females; what age, etc.) and then determine which shows attract that audience. Figure an easy 7 figure budget (millions) to do professionally done commercial. Then add in the cost of the airing the commercial which can run from say $100,000 for a 30-second spot to say $250,000 (except on Friday when no one watches TV).
