How to get rid of my plugged up ears?

Plugged ears may be associated with a build up of pressure or fluid in the middle ear due to Eustachian Tube issues caused by congestion or rapid air pressure changes. This little tube connecting the middle ear to the back of the nose may have difficulty opening due to congestion from colds and allergies or air pressure changes in scuba diving or flying. The tube equalizes pressure in middle ear (opens typically about 400 times per day) with changing outside air pressure. Try yawning, swallowing, or doing a gentle Valsalva Maneuver to help the little tube open. Sometimes relief can be as quick as a swallow (similar to opening the bottle cap of an indented water bottle -and the sides "pop" out). If that doesn't work, it may be time to see a medical care provider and ask if the medical device called the EarPopper is right for you. This device naturally opens the Eustachian tube with a small amount of regulated air.
