What are good, cheap fundraising ideas?
-
I started this club in my school and we fundraise for this animal hospice and rehab center called Angel's Gate. What are some good and cheap fundraising ideas?

Answer:
My best friend’s kids did a fundraiser through www.coffeebeanery.com Not only were they selling a product that people are already going to buy (none of that weird random gift stuff) but the school got 50% profit which is pretty much unheard of in fundraisers. You collect the money when you take the order and then send half to the company, who sends your products to you within 2 weeks.

Congratulations on your new club! Animals and what they add to peoples lives are life changing. There are several things that you can do to raise money without much money to spend. Here are a few ideas: How about a doggie wash, offer pet sitting services, or bake homemade dog treats! If none of these sound good to you, you could even try a few of these: You could host a root beer float night: http://www.1001-fundraising-ideas.com/ro… You could fill your neighbors yards with pink flamingos. (If you dont have the money to spend, how about using tacky lawn ornamants borrowed from friends and family) http://www.1001-fundraising-ideas.com/pi… Or, if you are a person who likes to dress up and be silly, you could host small children's birthday parties: http://www.1001-fundraising-ideas.com/cl… There are really many ideas for you to try. Take a look at the site and I'm sure you will find several idea to try. Off the top of my head, I'd take a look at Parents Night Out, Dollar Daze, Yard Clean Up(Hint, use the search engine, or the categories....I'd suggest the Youth Group category.) Good luck to you and thanks for caring enough to give your energy and time :-)

Alright, so I have a few ideas for you. The second one I've used for the Hospice I volunteer at and was pretty effective. 1. There's the old standby bottle drives. These can be rather effective. 2. Try getting people to organize home dinner parties. Say one family provides the entre and they invite four other families to the party. Each family brings $20 and one dish. At the end the host collects the money and sends in a cheque or drops off the cash in person. 3. You could organize a garage sale and collect items from anyone who is willing to donate. There's three that I've personally used and were effective regardless of the charity. I hope that helps your club!
