I tried to use lemon on my acne scars and it didn't work at all for me. It just made my skin dry. I'm not positive that it will lighten all of your skin but I've heard of people using it on their arms to fade tans so I would say there's a good chance that it could lighten all of your skin (if it works lol) I started using clinique dark spot corrector on my acne marks and it has really worked for me.
