    i dont have it pierced but know ppl that have it done. after, your tongue will swell up. you can take ibuprofen and eat cold stuff(ice, popsicles n stuff like that) to counteract that. make sure to keep it very clean. good luck

it depends on the person with me it didnt hurt while i got it done and asking other people it didnt hurt while getting it done after like 3 hours it just felt like i burned myself with something really hot and i sucked on ice until i went to sleep then as soon as i got up dont over mouth wash too much, itll make it feel worse, and they say to not use mouth wash with alcohol my boyfriends tongue stayed swollen for like a week i think its because he smoke and drank youre not really supposed to so just suck on ice chips, take pain killers, dont smoke and drink (if you smoke cut down on it until the swelling goes away) and dont play with it
