What's the best way to get rid of get dead skin on the footsoles?

salt scrubs pumice stone...also their is this razor thing you can buy to use on the dead skin but u need to know what ur doing or you will cut yourself they don't even use it in salons anymore its illegal now...much safer do ur own pedicure in the jets as spas live bacteria which can be deadly

To begin calluses are formed by pressure and friction, it a natural way for the foot to protect itself. You should use a pumice stone regularly as well as use thick cushioned socks when not wearing heels. File away any developing calluses with an emery board or pumice stone following a bath or shower, when the water has soften your callus when used with a softening foot lotions. Always keep your feet moisturized. Choose shoes shaped like human feet. Narrow-toed shoes make feet more prone to calluses because the foot is held at a funny angle inside the shoe. Buy high-quality exercise shoes with plenty of padding and room in the toe area. Don't try to save money by buying cheap shoes. Your feet will suffer. Usually painless, calluses can become a health problem if they're allowed to grow so thick they crack and become infected. See a podiatrist or sports-oriented doctor for chronic calluses. Treat yourself to monthly pedicures to help keep calluses on your feet to a minimum, but know that pedicures and similar treatments treat only the symptoms, not the underlying cause. If a callus becomes painful, it may signify anemia, poor circulation, diabetes, a vitamin deficiency or a developing corn. Seek medical consultation soon.

I used to be a Nail Tech and did many, many pedicures. Two things you can do. I recommend doing both. 1. A sloughing lotion (has a very mild acid that helps wear away the dead skin) 2. Sugar and any kind of body or baby oil mixed together as a scrub. There is no high end product that compares to this! Be careful because it leaves you a little slippery. Cutting or crazy over-filing actually produces more callouses. You body reacts as if its an injury and works double time to replace the protective callous. You have to sneak up on those little guys! Use a pumice stone or get a regular pedicure.

Soak them in water and rub with pumis stone and apply a moisturiser such as vaseline and leave them for 15 mins without touching anything. And cover them with socks. If you do this before going bed... it will be convinient for you.

Soak your feet in warm water to soften the skin, follow up with salicylic acid to exfoliate your feet of dead skin cell that cause roughness and lastly, apply some intensive moisturizing feet cream.
