I had severe acne both on my face and back and after trying countless of dermatologists’ treatment options, I'd still found myself frustrated by my debilitating acne problem. What you should do is wash your face with hot water which maybe you do normally but once the face wash is off wash your face few times with cold water it will close your pores because if you wash your face with hot water and then dry it and apply cream it can make your pores bigger and bigger also have a facial once in a while anti pores facial wash your face in the morning and before sleeping at night only

One method that is a charm is to apply a hot water wash cloth onto them for about half an hour, the steam opens them. Make sure the water is constantly. Then apply a cold water wash cloth for about 15 minutes and you should be set. I have very very little acne and when I used proactive (I don't recommend the whole system if you have sensitive skin) the toner made a huge difference too. You can buy the toner separately or try a different toner that is god for your pores.

A good gentle astringent will over time reduce the size of your pores. Combining this with waxing might help as well. For the astringent, I'd recommend witch hazel. It's inexpensive and more gentle than a lot of the major brands (it's been used for longer w/ great success too). The waxing (which would need to be done directly after a good washing of the face to remove any oils from your skin) will remove any tiny hairs which grow out of the pores. The hairs are usually pretty unseen, but they're there. By doing this, you'll remove the hair root and all which will result in your body needing to re-create the root first and then the hair. When this happens, your pores have a chance to decrease in size. It's the same "result" as long-term waxing for legs. The longer and more frequent the act of waxing, the thinner and lighter the hair gets... because the pores shrink. This goal of yours... it's a bit long term. Persistence and consistency will cause a successful outcome, but you may not notice HUGE improvement for months. Just minor improvement, however, if you're good about your consistency, the effects will be long-term. edit: Wanted to add the frequency of both. Everybody is different, so you'll need to trial and error. For myself, I waxed every 6-8 weeks and used astringent morning and night. Now, I don't need to do either. The wax strips that I used were the kind which were smell pieces of plastic that had wax in between them which you put in your hands and rub together quickly to warm up. Also, to ensure your skin doesn't have too adverse of a reaction to waxing, make sure you drink a good quantity of water ever day.
