    I Just got a tattoo of my new daughters name in prechristian celtic writing and am planning onn something else as well! did u think of maybe getting babies birth flower..theres flowers to represent each month! or u could get a pink carnation(flower)...its representitive of a mothers love and is traditionally given to mums on mothers day! or u could get a portrait of ur baby...but make sure to get a really experianced tattooist in portraits if u do decide on this!

Doesn't asking for ideas defeat the purpose of finding "uniqueness"? The foot/hand prints are good ideas through.

i always loved the idea of getting my baby's foot print / hand print as a tattoo. you want unique--no one Else will have that because its UR baby's print. its resembles u being a mom. and its none of that usual stuff like rainbows and hearts. you could also get their name tattoed on u. hope i helped...and i hope u like my ideass!!

This is kind of lame but a stork is kind of symbolic cause there's the legend of them carrying the baby and giving it to the mamas. Sorry if my idea sucks.
