It starts at group stage four teams in 8 groups play each other twice ( home and away ) then the top 2 teams from each group go through and are randomly drawn together but home nations cant be drawn together yet e.g. man u v arsenal. The teams are drawn from two pots 2nd place and 1st place teams. !st place teams play a 2nd place team and the 1st place go away first then home. Its to make it fair. This happens for three rounds: Knockout last 16 ( current stage) Quarter and Semi both played over 2 home and away games. Then the big final one match at a neutral ground which is wembley this year.
