How does the UEFA championship work?

I watch the Premire leauge frequently, but I am unsure how the UEFA title is decided. can anyone give me a quick run through?

Answer:
Well, First you have the groupstage in matchdays (if you r watching Champions League then it´s 1-6 adnd if you r watcing the Uefa Cup then it is 1-5). Then you have the first knockout round, the first set of matches we´re teams get eliminated. After that you have the Quarter Finals (Eight teams, four matches), Semi Finals (Four teams, two matches) then last and definetely not least you have the big Grand Finale´ (two teams one match). Then the team who wins the FInal gets the glor of Uefa Cup or Uefa Champions League winners!!!!
