definitely a hand ball. all the referees were bias. milan's player did so much fouls yet they didn't get the yellow cards. liverpool was such in a good discipline yet they get 3 or more yellow cards in that match. and the additional time wasn't up yet but they cut it. inzaghi and nesta lied about their sickness. gattuso cheated and got a free kick. overall, liverpool didn't lose fairly. =\

liverpool only had the opportunity to score when Milan made a defensive mistake or when the ball hit the ref! liverpools goal was offside and pippos goal was absolutely not handball. if anything he was trying to get out of the way - he didn't know where the ball was going, not did he know where the goalie was. he was advancing to possibly get a rebound goal off the ref. liverpool did not play a better game, and their offense is horrible. they cannot play with the ball on their feet, that is why they only shot from outside the area.

he clearly leaned into the ball. he knew what he was doing. and kaka dove before that to get the foul. theyre all a bunch of cheaters. later inzaghi lies on the ground like a little baby as if hes been shot. ynwa

in the source section of my answer is the URL where you can see a still picture of the incident... clearly it was a handball... although probably unintentional, it is the difference between a goal or otherwise. When there's a handball, even if it's unintentional, if it is the only difference between the goal or otherwise, it should have been considered illegal... referees can only ignore unintentional handballs if it doesn't intercept with the gameplay whatsoever...

Definate goal... the ball just hit him, he didn't know what had happened until he saw the ball go in the net!!

was above the elbow, and the ball hit him rather than his arm hitting the ball. think its one of the newish interpretations of the rules i guess. as the goal was allowed i suppose it wasnt handball
