Does yahoo penalize for not having a keyword meta tag?

As far as i know, that is no penalty for not having meta tag. But i know you will get penalized if you manipulate Search Engine with high paying keyword on your website. In other word Black Hat website. For other related Internet Marketing information, http://internetmarketingtipsweb.blogspot.com/

I doubt you would be penalized for not using the meta keywords tag, but theres really no reason to not include one. The meta keywords tag is not very important any more --Google completely ignores it, MSN and Yahoo, MAY consider it as a very small part of their algorithm. ...Add one and see if that changes anything ---just make sure you don't spam it with unrelated keyphrases
