    Hi Mandi, There are some free options available to you and I am surprised that the previous posters didn't mention them. As you are seeking for a free web page I am not sure why they are trying to sell you services and templates. Anyway Mandi, as I am sure you are aware the free options are not as well as the paid options however where there is a will there is a way. If you go to http://www.blogger.com/ ( owned by Google) then you can open a free account there. You would get a domain which would look something like : your company-blog spot.com for example. Please make sure to sign up for the beta version as the templates are better there and you can change them to your needs and liking. I know some people might say that its a blog however with new hacks and options and labels, you can actually do a pretty decent job in using the free blogger as a normal website builder / cms. If you only need a single sales page for now or prefer a more static page then Google also offers the free Google page creator which is really easy to use: http://pages.google.com/-/about.html But the best option which I just thought of now and which many people are not aware of is the Office live basics by Microsoft. They even give you a free domain for a year! check out my space there you can make your own page display them and even ask for ratings so you will know if people are viewing them there is as yahoo business there are millions of people on my space you can set your profile to your page you make to public and then start advertising by sending out request to forward to friends who might be interested before long you will have all kinds of people learning about your products etc and go from there

I agree about not using the free templates - they put too many ads on them. Why not start promoting your business via sites like Squidoo (they're free)? I started out on there advertising my ghostwriting services and business skyrocketed and then I started selling stuff from there. Squidoo has great PageRank on Google, so you get high rankings for whatever keyword your business is for. Tiff :)
