    The Four Seaons in Ubud, absolutely the best of the best. There's also Begawan Giri, which is a villa style accomodation, very good and very expensive too. You know what, there are lots of villas to choose from: Ibah, Kirana, among others, but as I said before, the Four Seasons is still the best of the best of them all, cause it's a name brand resort with world renowned services and quality accomodation.

Best place? Amandari Resort, hands down. However, it certainly is not for everyone's budget.

There's a great selection on places to stay in Ubud, but I don't know what you mean by "best". http://www.cheaperthanhotels.com.au/Indonesia/Bali/Ubud/ Click on the price offer icons Check out the child policy of some of the hotels, which may indicate that they are encouraging children to be there, but without more information I'm a bit stuck. Hope this helps a little
