I WOULD NOT put mederma on breakout prone skin, there isn't really a cream that helps with acne scars. Retin-A will help a little. The only thing that worked for me was Fraxel Laser treatments.

I'm honestly not sure. I bought some and looked on the back of the tube when I got home (I wanted to use it for stretch marks) and it was so unbelievably VAGUE. It says its used to treat scars. lol. What kind? Who knows.
