  Maybe you should have a good physical and maybe the doctor will do an X-Ray of the wrist. I had a cyst on my wrist area that was painful when moving and I could feel a tiny lump under the skin. I tried to move my wrist around as you say to crack it but it was to painful. I finally went to the doctor and had to have surgery to remove it. Maybe you have a small cyst or if you type on the computer or text on your cell phone alot it could be you have irritated or injured your wrist.
