Tips on memorizing things easily?

Any memory tips for memorizing things?

  • Need to memorize info for a history test, lots of names and dates. Please let me know a trick for remembering LISTS, NAMES, and DATES!

    Try by remembering the first letter or number of the item(s) that needs to be memorized. Use index cards to make flash cards and draw or write a little note along with the answer on the back of the index card. This should help you remember what it is you need to know. Repeatedly test yourself to make sure if you are making any progress with this type of study method...for some people, it is very helpful. Good Luck!!

Set a limit/time when to memorize all, but don't think it's boring or what. From my experience i do not force myself to memorize but i have a limit when to memorize it, i just enjoy repeating it again and again as if I'm just playing. I hope it helps.

repeat things or put them together. a name goes with a date.that goes under a list??..if that is how it goes...my thing is to repeat...and repeat...and repeat..repeat without looking...repeat before going to bed!..you might wake up remembering..best of luck!
