    Quite simply put - If you're more familiar with British English, then its the IELTS you should take. TOEFL is an American test. (They both have four sections: Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking.)

I think the IELTS. Infact, I've taken it on 26th last month, scored an average 7. Why would you take it? TOEFL doesn't have speaking; since you're a good speaker, you'll do good. It's so easy, it's like getting free marks or something. Take the IELTS, my recommendation. It's even more recommended than the TOEFL in Canada, Australia and gradually the US is also making it the default test for admission to unis.
