    You should take 2 subject maximum, but some colleges require 3. However, other universities do not require to take the subject tests, but only the reasoning test. my suggestion before taking the subject test, research the universities you wanted to go and look for entrance requirement if you require for the subject test. The sat subject test helps colleges see your other subject specialties, but the reasoning test is a mandatory
