  • Answer:

when mosquitos enter your skin, they use their saliva as a numbing agent so you wont feel them penetrating your skin and blood vessel. Once they leave your body, your white blood cells start to attack the squito saliva making it itch. Also several people are allergic to the saliva making it also burn and itch severly. I have found several things to work. One: scratch the surface of your skin and put some of your own saliva over it. This works until you can get the good stuff. there is an ammonia solution that is called "After Bite" Its in the store by all the bug spray. This works EXCELLENTLY for the duration of the bites healing. Good Luck!!

mosquito bites itch because when they bite you, theyre saliva (spit) enters your blood stream to prevent it from clotting at the place where it bit, the chemical in its saliva that prevents clotting, also gives an itchy message to the brain
