    No such thing. The programs like K12 are considered public school, and are paid for by taxes. Homeschoolers are a lot like those who choose private school....you pay your taxes for the public school and then pay for your own education on top of it. No tax breaks, no stipends, no write-offs. (I think New Zealand is the only exception to that.) Homeschooling doesn't have to be tremendously expensive. Have you read "The Teenage Liberation Handbook?" Check your library.

it's up to your parents and you - you can learn at home in any way you wish, so long as you follow any local country or state laws (but in most English-speaking countries they are minimal). Many home educators simply follow the interests of the student, with lots of reading, discussion, games, outings... you may need a few months to de-school, but after that you should be able to learn in whatever way suits you best. K12online is just school at home, not true home education.

What you are looking for is public school at home, which is NOT homeschooling. K12 is the most popular public school at home option. Perhaps you should contact your school and see if they have an independent study option?

probably nothing else is free.The government has to provide schooling, so you must either GO TO THE building, or do the online that they provide. Sorry.
