What is better homeschooling or regular school?

I was homeschooled. You can get up whenever. Take breaks whenever. Do you work whenever. You can graduate early.

Homeschooling Pro's: Can wake up later Go at your own pace, somewhat. Con's: Despite what you hear, you probably won't finish early homeschooling. Don't get to see your friends as much. Have to be around parents all the time. It is BORING School Pro's: Get to see friends Get away from parents Have an actuall social life. Cons: Homework Unless your parents let you do every damn thing you want and let you actually see your friends don't homeschool.

i've been homeschooled going on my second year. i'm a senior this year and i'll be graduating in december now if i was attending public school i wouldn't be graduating until may. whoever says homeschoolers don't have social lives they clearly don't know what their talking about. i hang out with my friends i met through public school EVERY night. if you don't have many friends at school now you can always join homeschooling groups in your area. they are always meeting and doing stuff together. pros for homeschooling: better education and in my opinion it's easier. you get to wake up whenever. if you don't feel like doing work that day for some reason you don't have to force yourself into doing it. you move at your own pass so if you already understand that then you can move on or if your having trouble with a lesson you can continue to work on it until you understand it. cons: whenever it comes to apply to college you must have a transcript of all your work. that's really it :) pros for public school: friends i guess? but i mean your in school so you don't get to talk much cons: waking up early. teachers. and everything else. homeschooling really is the best decision. i promise you won't regret it! email me if you have any questions :)

some pros and cons like the other guy said. I will say what is true for me. pros: no worrying about waking up early everyday learn some things that are more interesting to you (I learn mostly science,(I'd say I am a year ahead at science than if I would have been at school), some social studies and math(I am behind a little in math). not time bound by anything, learn at your own pace cons I have no friends never get any time away from my parents time passes by really fast (reaaallly fast, I'm in 11th grade now and I've been homeschooling for 2 years (so I went to highschool for only a month) It feels like 2 years of middle school was such a huge portion of my life. On the other hand 2 years home schooling feels like it just started. overall what it feels like? it feels like an endless weekend with homework and studying involved Since my parents work from home. Otherwise if your parents go to work it feels like an endless summer with homework Right now I would have rather gone to school since my parents stay home all day now. An endless weekend sounds like fun but like anything it gets irritating over time.

im home-schooled and i thank its good because you don't have to deal with peer pressure and you don't have to worry about what other people thinks about you. plus you get to go at your own pace and you graduate earlier then regular public school but you gotta be ready to do the work and not procrastinate.
