Would public school and homeschool be a good compare and contrast essay topic?

I don't think so. While there is plenty to contrast, there is little to compare. Homeschool can vary so much from state to state, even family to family, it's a little like trying to compare huge corporations with all home based businesses in which so many people do things in different ways.
