  She flat out lied. Even the admissions section of their website says they you do not even need to have a high school diploma at all to enroll if you are 18 or older. If you are trying to enroll before you would normally qualify to be a college freshman you would be better off enroll under their fast start program for high school students. From their website: http://www.brookdalecc.edu/pages/242.asp Brookdale is an open admissions college, available to anyone 18 years of age or older, or anyone who is a high school graduate or holder of an equivalency diploma. If you do not have a high school diploma or an equivalency diploma, you may still enroll at Brookdale as long as you are 18 or older. Applicants to and students in the program must be recommended by and have written approval from their High School Guidance Counselor and parent/legal guardian.
